Hello fellow bookies. If you enjoyed my August Roundup (which I hope you did), then you should enjoy this one. I was going to sell them through here but that just became too complicated. If you know of any place online that will buy books back, drop a comment below and let me know. 🙂 I am also in the process of getting a Free Little Library started in my neighborhood in hopes of unloading my books there as well. I just have no more room!

Book RoundUp-September 2018
Take a quick look at all of the books I read in September, my thoughts, and feel free to share your own thoughts, whether you have read or want to read any of these.
After reading The Selection Series and finding out the winner in this The Bachelor meets The Hunger Games mashup, there are two more books which following the new King and Queens’ daughter. Truthfully, the story isn`
t really necessary and doesn`t add too much, but it`s good if you just really liked that whole royal competition concept. Here we get to experience the Selection from a girl`s stand point as she is the one choosing from a group of boys.
Short Review: Not necessary, there isn`t much of a story line but I liked reading more about the selection.
Finally we reach the end and the Selector has made her choice. There is a minor twist in this story, but again, there is no real solid story line, it`s just an addition. Many readers may find this book boring, but it
s easy and quick to read so I just finished it. It ended in a fairy tale sort of way, as one might assume. There just isn`t a lot to say here!
Short Review: Meh.
Okay, now a book that is worth many words. If you read Caraval, you understand that the game is unique and you need to keep up with what`s happening in order to not get lost. Well, Legendary is no different. Although at this point we understand the game a little bit better, we are now reading from`s point of view and discovering many more secrets, deceptions, and heartbreak. We meet a lot of new characters and focus in closer on a couple of Caraval`s characters. We experience the game again from beginning to end but the end will leave you in tears and shock. Fortunately, there is one final book coming in 2019 to (hopefully) answer our remaining questions. I don`t know about you but I have many!
Stephanie Garber does extraordinary things. She describes and tells the story in a very illustrated and emotional way that just makes me picture every detail of the scene and our characters. She is truly a beautiful writer with a talent of suspense.
Short Review: Nothing short of amazing and anxious to read the finale.
Very interesting concept with this book, but I am not sure it captured my interest enough to have me keep going. This is one of three books, where our characters live on a floating city ruled by a king and you can be anything you want. There are rules, everyone has a betrothed, and if you go to the Edge you could die or become impaired. While Morgan was happy with her life and the way things were going with her betrothed, a series of events soon changes that and sets her entire life off course. By the end we find our characters finally escaping their floating city, but is their escape successful? What do they find below?
Short Review: Could end up as a flop but interesting story line so far.
Such a gorgeous book! One of three, we meet Alyssa, great-great-great granddaughter of the Alice Lidell who inspired Lewis Caroll`s Alice in Wonderland Adventures. Alyssa comes from a line of women who are said to be cursed, ending up in an asylum just like her mother is currently. But Alyssa
s life soon changes when she finds out the rabbit hole is more than a myth and that Wonderland is real, but the stories were way off base. Alyssa has to fight to decipher whats imaginary and what`s reality or she is bound to lose her head from the mind games. Torn between an attraction for two men, saving her mother or giving into her real self, Alyssa has to fight for what her ancestors never understood and decide where her heart lies: the human world or Wonderland?
Short Review: Such a twist on a classic tale!
